Learn how to build capacity more effectively while creating more engagement with your team members~
Being a leader these days is very challenging. You have an ever increasing, demanding workload. You’d like to spend more time on the high level strategy work you were hired to do, but it can be challenging to stay focused given all the other competing priorities.
Much of your time may be spent handling the daily tactics and challenges that arise. You’re doing too much work, perhaps not able to delegate enough and meanwhile you’re also responsible for stimulating the ongoing growth and development of your team members.
Building capacity and creating more engagement with your team members sounds great, but where to begin?
I’m Mara Vizzutti, a seasoned facilitator and leadership coach residing in Nova Scotia and working primarily in Eastern Canada.
I am passionate about working with leaders and leadership teams to improve communication and engagement. I work with leaders who want to build capacity more effectively in their people by bridging the management gap.
The Management Gap
There is a gap between how people are managed and how they need and want to be managed. I work with leaders to close that gap by showing them how to achieve the following results:
- Stimulate people’s thinking so they solve their own problems
- Get more “buy-in” from your team members
- Communicate in a way that builds engagement with others and increases ownership for results
- Delegate more effectively and create more responsive team members while removing a lot of the pressure and work burden off your shoulders
- Learn how to give both constructive and positive feedback effectively and deal with issues as they come up
We need to be having different conversations with our team members. We have the most educated workforce ever. We hire people for their brains yet we do not engage them in conversations that leverage that brain-power and talent.
When conversations change, companies transform.
