Who We Work With

I work with a wide variety of organizations encompassing many sectors from: manufacturing, financial services, government departments, construction, high tech and banking as some examples.

Working primarily in Eastern Canada and the Maritimes I am committed to working with organizations that have identified the importance and value in developing their current and next generation of leaders.

Some of these companies are growing rapidly and are challenged to keep pace with market demands. Others are more established corporations grappling with the upcoming retirement of many senior people and how to successfully nurture future leaders.

The dilemma is people are swamped. For managers with ongoing and growing responsibilities it is very challenging to develop their next tier of leaders effectively and rapidly.

Are some of these statements true for you?

“We are so stretched trying to do all the work, we simply don’t have time to train the next generation of leaders.” This is a common situation in most companies- it is a huge challenge. However, if not resolved, what is this costing you in the long term success of your organization?

“We have great young talent here and we want to retain them.” We’ve all seen high achievers being courted and pulled away from our organizations to work elsewhere. This trend is on the rise. Are you losing good people or unable to take on bigger projects because the talent just isn’t there?

“Our leaders are all engaged in different streams of learning. We need a leadership program that all our leaders can benefit from when it comes to effectively managing others.” While having the freedom of choice to attain skills from a number of different institutions is a great privilege, it does not support a cohesive leadership approach to successfully managing others in the organization.

“We’ve seen a number of our managers come dangerously close to burn-out and we don’t want that to happen.” You may want to prevent this future outcome when on-boarding a new manager or sustain a current manager who may be treading water.

“While we’ve engaged in a number of different trainings, most of which were excellent, we are challenged to implement the learning long term.” We all know that information does not lead to behavioral change. In what ways can we best support behavioral change, new habits and long term results?

Organizations and individuals who are likely to be successful working with us are in alignment with the following values:

  • You believe in harnessing the potential of your people so they may achieve success for themselves and the organization.
  • You care about and respect others and believe that people are your best competitive advantage.
  • You believe learning, innovation and getting results can be enjoyable and approached with a good dose of humour!
  • You approach life and work from a win/with perspective and strive for exceptional results.
  • You see the value in working together in a collaborative way to overcome challenges and achieve the best outcomes. You don’t expect an outside provider to wave a magic wand and solve all your problems.
  • You expect the best from yourself and others; you take ownership for your decisions and results.
  • You want to make a difference to yourself, your colleagues, and customers you serve.
